We Can’t Wait To Meet You
Visiting a Sunday morning worship service is one of the best ways to learn more about Lafayette First Church of the Nazarene. We know that visiting a church for the first time can be a bit intimidating so we’re here to help. The three steps below will help you prepare when you choose to come visit us.
- We’ll park your car. If you are a single parent or you think you may have difficulty navigating the parking area, please pull up underneath the carport. One of our greeters will be happy to valet park your vehicle.
- We’ll take care of your family. Greeters will welcome you at the door, providing you with a program and answering any questions. If you have children in sixth grade or under, you will be guided to the Kids Worship area where your children are welcome to worship in a safe, age-appropriate environment. Or, if you would prefer, they’re welcome to worship with you.
- We’ll show you the way. As you enter the Worship Area, ushers will greet you and direct you to a seat. Our worship service typically begins with singing led by our worship band and includes prayer, scripture reading, a sermon, and a blessing. The service lasts about an hour. You are welcome to participate as much or a little as you would wish.
If you’d like to check us out before you come to visit, visit the sermons page to download and listen to a sermon.
