To Our Lafayette First Church Family,
We cannot tell you how thrilled we are to be called a part of your church family! Thank you for inviting us to join with this great church and partner in your lives. Your confirmation of God’s calling has been remarkable. Thank you for your encouragement. We look forward to the days ahead with great anticipation and excitement.
We know that God has brought us together. From the first contact we had with Dr. Woolery to your affirmation on Sunday June 22, we are certain that God has been leading in this process and has confirmed His guiding with us many times.
We thank the Lord for the opportunity to join with you. We are looking forward to knowing you, loving you, and doing life together. We are eager to partner with you in the challenging mission of “encouraging all to be passionate followers of Christ.”
We would like to ask you to join with us in prayer over a few issues.
- Please pray for Indianapolis First Church as we transition from our ministry responsibilities.
- In this time of transition, pray for us as a family. Pray for all of the logistical issues associated with the move to Lafayette especially the selling of our home and the buying of a new home.
- Pray for your church. Pray that God will prepare all of us for the great days ahead and all that He wants to do in and through us.
- Continue to pray for all who serve your church in ministry. Thank the Lord for their efforts.
Please know you are in our hearts and on our minds! We pray for you daily and cannot wait to be there with you.
In closing, we pray that "the God who gives endurance and encouragement will give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus, so that with one heart and mouth you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ." (Romans 15:5-6)
